After graduating high school (Waskom High School, 2000), I attended Texas A&M University (Whoop!) gaining a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture Science in 2004. I furthered my education by gaining a Masters of Science in Agriculture Science from Texas A&M-Kingsville. After gaining my degree, I began my teaching career in the rural west Texas community of Quanah. In 2008 I moved  to Weatherford High School where I taught in the Ag department for 2 years.  I began my tenure at Brock High School in 2010.

Each and every part of our daily life is affected by agriculture. Growing up on a farm in rural east Texas and being an active FFA member gave me a passion for the Agricultural Sciences. The leadership opportunities of being a FFA District Vice- President and Area VI Vice president motivated me to pursue the career that I have today. As an Ag teacher, I enjoy giving kids the same opportunities I had which molded me into the person I am today.
